Alas a Friday Flash Freebie...it just took me a couple weeks to get my head above water and not be super sick and get a bit of a rhythm. And you know what? I missed offering these flash freebies and it feels good to post one. Like a little piece of summer.
I created these charts because some of my friends struggle with identifying coins when they are presented as black and white images vs. actual coins. I found that they were becoming frustrated when working through games and written activities that required them to work with blackline images. Their work was not reflective of their abilities to work with money.
By the way....did you know I have a cute, fun and engaging MONEY PACKET available? It includes 5 different math centers/games/activities, integrates language arts, is differentiated for grades 1-4 and is only $5.00....that's just a dollar an activity. It's called Cha-Ching and you can snag it here.
Back to the Freebie Reference Chart I made....
This packet includes several versions of the chart. You’ll notice the top has a few options on how much information you wish to provide (coin names, values).
The second set of cards were designed to save you money on printing / ink cost. You can print and photocopy them in black and white and adhere coin stickers. Carson-Dellosa makes a nice set at a low cost. You also attach real or plastic coins to the cards with hot glue or superglue.

Thank you! I love those Carson Dellosa stickers.
