Space Themed Classrooms - Virtual Vacation

Although I am away on vacation, you are with me in spirit. Follow along with my daily itinerary and snag the deal of the day that relates to it.

As for the deal of the day:

While I'm away I'm "rerunning" some of my former posts that relate to the beach. Throughout the month of June, I ran a Classroom Theme Series and featured a different popular classroom theme each day. Themes are a great way to tie everything in your classroom together...you just have to be careful not to let them clutter your classroom :)

Today we are going to EPCOT. And since the thing most often associated with EPCOT is Spaceship Earth (aka the giant golf ball), it only makes sense to share my space-themed post with you again.

Beth Newingham's Space Themed Classroom

Earlier today I showed off my Krissy Venosdale inspired bulletin board. I spent a good chunk of today creating a new writing project kit to go with it and just uploaded it to my store.
It's currently available for only $3.95 and includes the following.
There are two different graphic organizers to help students brainstorm ideas, select a topic and plan their writing. One guides them to write about their own dreams or goals. The other focuses on why they are a "star."
I've included four pages for their published writing project. One has primary ruled lines with a headline, midline and baseline. The other is ruled for intermediate writers. Each has a top page and a second page with stars at the top if needed. There are bright, colorful printables and greyline reproducibles included. They feature Thistlegirl Designs clipart.
