The Linky will be ongoing and you can always jump in and link up at any time. If you don't have a blog you can respond to the prompt in the comment section. Below is this week's prompt.
Let us know what you purged.
TOPIC: Say Goodbye to the Clutter
Take pictures and document some things you were able to get out of your rooms this week. Let us see those trash bags bursting at the seams, the recycling bins filled to the brim, and the boxes of treasures waiting to be welcomed into the lives of other teachers.
Feel free to pick from any/all of the following questions or share your own ideas that relate the this week's topic.
- How much were you able to escort out the door this week?
- Tell us about what you purged and how you felt doing so.

Yikes! Time sure is flying and I still haven't been allowed in my classroom! Tuesday's the day though! Can't wait to sink my shovel into the clutter!

Ugh I really wanted to link up again this week but I couldn't find time to do anything! We only had school for three days this week so I didn't get a chance to declutter at all. :(

The Mis-Adventures of a First Year Teacher
Sorry to say I too have not been able to declutter! We had a day off; 2 days of inservice, and 2 days of teaching with report cards and testing due! Next week my student teacher starts and I CAN'T WAIT! I will be able to sort through soo much!

ReplyDeleteOK -I am feeling pretty good that I got at least two shelves! Good luck to all of you with the decluttering! Don't beat yourself up - we all have tons of responsibilities! What we get done - we get done! Even a little is better than nothing! Enjoy!!
I haven't reorganized the universe, but a few boxes got emptied. I'm taking baby steps, and I'm gaining momentum. I'm so glad to be a part of this project!

Finding JOY in 6th Grade
Whew! What a decluttering week! http://begborrowandteach.blogspot.com/2012/01/clutter-free-challenge-week-3.html
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the inspiration!
Nothing for me. :/ I am having a hard time, finding time. I will have to put aside Monday's plan time to do some decluttering and link up then.
ReplyDeleteI am even toying with the idea of taking a half day and going in just to get some things in order. I know it's weird, taking a day off and going in to work. Just the sort of crazy thing I would do.

A Teacher's Plan
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your clutter-free classroom challenge. I'm an elementary school principal and my campus has been used for summer school every year for the past 6 years. That means that my teachers have not had the opportunity to clean out their classrooms. I'm giving them staff development credit to do that this August. I've incorporated lots of your ideas into the power point to give them direction and am providing them with your free downloads to help their journey. I'm excited about being a cleaner, healthier, more organized campus this fall!
