Space Themed Classrooms

hroughout the month of June, I am going to run a Classroom Theme Series and feature a different popular classroom theme each day. Themes are a great way to tie everything in your classroom just have to be careful not to let them clutter your classroom :) Today we are going to blast off with a space theme!

Astronomical Assistants (job board)
Mission Control (info board/calendar)
Blast Off With a Good Book
“Lunch” Pad (menu/lunch ordering)
10..9..8..7..etc...Blast off with (subject)
We are blasting off to a Stellar Year-(in hall)
Welcome to Our Galaxy
We’re Soaring to Success
We are Shooting for the Stars this Year!
We are reading our way through the Solar System
Work That is Out of This World
Use black fabric on all of your bulletin boards
-space themed fabric
-vinyl decals of planets
-adhesive glow-in-the-dark-stars
-hang planets and stars from the ceiling

  1. Thanks for the space theme ideas and pictures. I've had a space theme for the last few years and can't seem to change it, I love it so much. I live just outside of Houston, my husband works for NASA (not an astronaut, but provides tech support for space station), and I've had an astronaut's daughter in my class. We just love space around here. Thanks again!
