Throughout the month of June, I am going to run a Classroom Theme Series and feature a different popular classroom theme each day. Themes are a great way to tie everything in your classroom together...you just have to be careful not to let them clutter your classroom :) Today we are going rev our engines with a racing theme...on your mark...get set...GO!
How much fun would this be as part of a classroom library?
The awesomeness below is from the theme queen, Beth Newingham:

-create an area for students to turn in their work called, “The Finish Line.”
-call your meeting area “The Pit”
-bathroom passes or sign out area can be titled, “Pit Stop”
These ideas are from a hotwheels birthday party, but could be used in a classroom.

The following thirteen images are from Mrs. Robertson's classroom. I also featured her wild west theme on my cowboy page. I think she did an amazing job of going all out with a theme, but keeping the room organized and neat looking.
